So, you want bottom gear that is heavier than the heaviest Titanium Leader that you can possibly accuire. You need a Titanium Leader or else you will loose a LOT of fish and gear.

Note that the Leader is going to be your biggest limiting factor. You want the absolutly heaviest bottom set up you possibly can use at your level. The best set up is a rod stand full of bottom rods and another in your hands (that's going to be between 2 and 5 rods, depending on your level).
